RE2 Dice Roll System

This tool is a dice roller made to help with random item selection in Resident Evil 2. It’s all about bringing some classic dice luck into your gameplay to shake things up.

How It Works

• You hit the Roll button, and it picks a random number between a set range. (1 to 4).

• Each number means something different:

  • 1 = Ink Ribbon

  • 2 = Healing items (like Green Herb, Red Herb, Blue Herb, or First Aid Spray)

  • 3 = Ammo (different types and amounts)

  • 4 = Your choice on the above selections. Congrats!

Healing Items

• There’s a checkbox to decide if First Aid Spray can appear or not.

• Depending on the checkbox, healing item chances change:

  • If First Aid is enabled, you can get First Aid Spray as a roll option.

  • If not enabled, it won’t appear, and the herbs get redistributed.

Ammo Types

• When ammo comes up, it randomly chooses what type you get (handgun, shotgun shells, magnum ammo, etc.) and how much.

• Ammo amounts differ depending on the ammo type — some get a small random amount, others a bigger one.

Visual Feedback

• The system shows the item you got by displaying its name and an image on screen.

• It also has a developer/debug text area that shows the exact numbers rolled, so you can see behind the scenes.
